Sure, you can ride a fat tire bike on the beach, but we use them to plow through snowbanks, float over ice-covered lakes and roll down frozen stream beds.

Good places to ride include the Mississippi River Bottoms, Theodore Wirth Park mountain bike trails, Minnehaha Creek and the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes.
