Guthrie Theater

818 S. 2nd St., Mpls.

Founded in 1963, Minneapolis’ world renowned repertory theater is running “Cyrano de Bergerac,” an 1897 French romantic comedy, though you might be more familiar with “Roxanne” starring Steve Martin and Daryl Hannah, which was inspired by it. If you can’t watch the show, you should still stop by the Jean Nouvel-designed three-stage complex (limited hours) to step onto the Bridge to Nowhere, an unsuspended bridge that affords magnificent views of the Mississippi River.
