Luminary Loppet

A festival on a frozen lake? You betcha. Tied to the City of Lakes Loppet cross-country ski event, the Luminary party lights up Lake of the Isles just southwest of downtown Minneapolis for one enchanted evening with a glowing luminary trail, ice structures such as “IceHenge,” music, a beer tent and extra visual art this year thanks to added funding by the Minnesota State Arts Board. Timed entry tickets are $12-$30.
