March Madness Music Series

500 S. 6th St., Mpls.
Shari L. Gross

The Final Four is bringing a free three-day concert series to the Minneapolis Armory. The Armory was a notable event center in the 20th century, serving as the home court of the NBA’s Minneapolis Lakers in the ’50s. It reopened as an events venue in 2018. It’s only a couple of blocks away from U.S. Bank Stadium and the light-rail station. So far, singer/songwriter Katy Perry and DJ/producer Zedd are confirmed as the headline acts for Sunday’s show. Concert tickets are free, but registration is required; keep an eye out for when the other artists are announced, then move quickly to register for tickets. The Armory is smaller than some previous March Madness venues in other cities, so tickets may be scarce.
