U.S. Pond Hockey Championships

A whole other kind of party on a lake, this one centers around the sport your Canadian co-worker may have told you about, the one on skates with sticks, pucks and lots of fighting. The fisticuffs are kept to a minimum in this case as teams of mostly amateurs compete for the Golden Shovel, while many people who could care less about hockey mingle in and around the warming house or enjoy the outdoor skating.
