Museum of Russian Art
5500 Stevens Av., Mpls.Minnesotans Ray and Susan Johnson have acquired the largest private collection of Russian Realism outside Russia, and they’ve been displaying works for 15 years at the Museum of Russian Art in Minneapolis. Current exhibits feature Soviet-era portrayals of the human body and the surrealist art of Sergei Isopov.

Walker Art Center
725 Vineland Pl., Mpls.The Walker is one of the country’s foremost modern-art museums, with works by Jasper Johns, Merce Cunningham, Chuck Close and many others as well as performing arts programs.
